The Westley Hotel is situated just on the outskirts of Birmingham, Britains second largest city. NEC
The NEC Arena has millions of visitors each year attending the very best in exhibitions, world-famous public shows, international trade shows and music concerts.

NIA
The National Indoor Arena is one of the busiest large scale indoor sporting and entertainment venues in Europe. The NIA provides a perfect home for indoor sport at every level. The arena has also been host to the Eurovision Song Contest and many music concerts by world renowned artists.

Symphony Hall / Birmingham Town Hall
Symphony Hall presents prestigious international orchestras and is also home to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The Hall also plays an important role in the life of the region and is regularly used for community events and conferences. Birmingham Town Hall opened in 1834, A fantastic example of neo-classical civic architecture. Recently re-opened in 2007 after a £35 million refurb to restore the building to its origional glory!

ICC
The International Convention Centre is the UK's premier conference centre. With over 11 halls and 10 executive meeting rooms, the ICC can provide the perfect area for meetings of 3 to 3000 people.

Bullring
The Bullring is the glamorous heart of Birmingham. Over 160 of the most desirable shops for you to explore - including Selfridges and Debenhams. The famous Bullring markets have everything from vintage clothing to fresh meat to soak up the vibrant atmosphere and why not try haggling with the traders to beat down prices!

Broad Street / Brindleyplace
Site of the NIA, Symphony Hall, ICC, Ikon Gallery and Birmingham Repertory Theatre. Broad Street is the place to be on a night out, full of bars and great party atmosphere.

Sealife Centre
The National Sea Life Centre takes visitors on an undersea voyage with over 60 displays of freshwater and marine life, creating a wonderland for visitors of all ages. The attractions boasts an enormous one million litre ocean tank housing turtles, sharks and other tropical fish.

The Mailbox

Digbeth /Hurst Street
Digbeth is now an arts based community village and is also the location of the Bird's custard factory.Home to Birminghams Chinese Quarter and the Gay village. Comedy nights and open mike nights at The Glee Club, and we also recommend a visit to Mr Egg's cafe.

Thinktank
Birminghams Science Museum contains ten themed galleries exploring past, present and future. Top things to see include the worlds oldest working steam engine, exhibitions on spave exploration, a planetarium and gallery dedicated to the people and inventions of Birmingham.

Cadbury World
The Westley Hotel is near Cadbury World, where you can learn about the history of chocolate and enjoy the thrill of seeing how a cream egg is filled!

Drayton Manor Family Theme Park
During March to October the Drayton Manor Theme Park is a fantastic day out for the entire family. There are white knuckle rides like the Apocolyse, which drops you at over 4Gs, for the brave and over a hundred species of animal at the Drayton Manor Zoo for the faint-hearted.

The Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses, Edgbaston
15 acres of formal gardens, with a bandstand on the main lawn for a perfect picnic, plus a red brick cottage, Tropical & Subtropical houses, cacti and Victorian style conservatory of Mediterranean flowers & fruits.

Back to Backs
Exhibition's of 19th century courtyard houses built for the influx of workers to the city, catagorised into four periods between 1840 and 1977. Accompanied with the guides stories about the people who lived here, this exhibition is a must see!

Aston Hall
A magnificent Jacobean mansion, with 17th century plasterwork, wood carvings and chimney pieces. Besieged in the Civil War by Cromwell's troops.

Round and about

The Westley Hotel is perfectly located on the East side of Birmingham with easy access to the major midland motorway network. The Coventry Road, A45 which links the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Airport with Birmingham City Centre is only 5 minutes away.
